Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics for a contract role. This position is an onsite position with rotating weekends at our client’s office in Aurora, Illinois 60504. 

Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics - Job Description:
The Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics position is responsible for managing duties related to the Central Supply department at Rush Copley Medical Center. The role involves ensuring efficient and timely completion of supply chain tasks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting hospital staff with supply needs.

Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics - Responsibilities:
• Complete scheduled processes efficiently and on time
• Work independently with minimal supervision and assist team members
• Handle and communicate customer requests effectively
• Maintain professional communication skills
• Ensure safety by identifying and communicating potential safety issues
• Restock supply cabinets and manage inventory using software tools
• Perform outdate checks and reorder supplies as needed
• Inspect and clean equipment, reporting any issues
• Enter patient charges for equipment and supplies into databases
• Operate electronic pallet jacks safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply and utility rooms

Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics - Mandatory Skills:
• High school graduate or GED certificate
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Current Illinois driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the position

Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
• Familiarity with inventory management software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Excellent communication skills

Materials Handler Transportation/Logistics – Assignment Length:
This is a 7-month contract position.
