Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III:
On behalf of our supply chain management client, Procom is searching for a Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III - Job Description:
This role focuses on developing and managing supply chain inventory strategies for assigned commodities. The specialist will lead planning, monitoring, and delivery of inventory material, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interfacing with vendors, internal clients, and strategic sourcing teams to optimize value for the company.

Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III - Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage inventory strategies to support the supply chain process.
• Research and analyze inventory consumption data and make ordering decisions.
• Provide recommendations for supply chain process improvements.
• Ensure quality and timely supply of materials; monitor supplier performance.
• Manage inventory methods and forecasting in conjunction with Strategic Sourcing.
• Create and modify material master records in SAP Materials Management Module.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel on materials management aspects.
• Communicate project material requirements to suppliers.

Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and procurement principles.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
