MDM Data Analyst:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for an MDM Data Analyst for a 6 month contract role. This position is fully remote, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

MDM Data Analyst - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MDM Data Analyst to support the development of two new Master Data programs focused on Vendor and Products & Assets Master domains. The role involves translating business requirements into comprehensive data requirements documentation, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.

MDM Data Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Define and document business and governance requirements for key master data domains such as Customer, Vendor, and Products.
• Develop comprehensive Data Requirements Documents and construct logical data models.
• Define master data processes including search, retrieve, create, match/merge, and synchronization.
• Support metadata management using enterprise tools and assist in developing business glossaries.
• Document attribute data quality and business rules.
• Prepare materials and reports for governance updates and working groups.
• Support governance-related change management for attributes, systems, and domains.

MDM Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years in Master Data Management as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles.
• 5+ years working with Informatica or comparable master data, metadata, governance tools.
• Practical knowledge of master data, data warehousing, relational databases, SaaS applications, and cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience creating logical data models or data mapping specifications.
• Understanding of data governance and management best practices.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.

MDM Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with DCAM, DAMA, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in change management processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accessible data management practices.

MDM Data Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.

ASAP.

MDM Data Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada; this position is remote.
