Job Description

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Job Description:
The Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and analysis of alternative products, focusing on a variety of derivatives. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely reporting and accounting for performance and exposure analysis, as well as supporting junior staff.

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of accounting for performance and exposure analysis
• Provide assistance to junior staff when needed
• Perform accounting functions, including control and updating the general ledger
• Conduct analysis of profit and loss (P&L) and reconciliation break clearance
• Monitor net cash flows for various products
• Calculate mark to market (MTM) for all open positions and post to respective reporting platforms

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Enrolment in CAIA/CGA/CMA/CFA or other recognized accredited program is desirable
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in Fund Accounting, Derivatives Administration, Fund on Funds, Hedge fund, Pension Reporting and/or Equity Funds
• Securities experience
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VBA/Macro)

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with W360
• Experience with Bloomberg terminal
• Knowledge and experience with derivatives systems and integration

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Start Date:
ASAP.

Middle-Office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.
