Mobile Apps SDET (Mid-Level)
On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for a Mobile Apps SDET - Mid Level for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin or Southlake, TX office.

Job Description:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for iOS and Android mobile apps. The project focuses on ensuring quality standards through full-cycle mobile app testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to implement and execute testing strategies.

Responsibilities:
• Work on full-cycle mobile app development on iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts using Appium with Java.
• Constantly run automation, analyze, and promptly report metrics and failures.
• Create detailed, actionable reports with screenshots and videos upon failures.
• Analyze mobile app requirements to create and execute automation test scripts.
• Handle iOS simulator and Android emulator configurations, Cloud-based and/or real-device testing.
• Work effectively within Agile teams, liaising with product owners and scrum masters.

Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years in mobile application development.
• 4+ years of experience in developing and executing automated test scripts and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Expertise in full-cycle mobile app testing including UI, functional, compatibility, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Hands-on coding experience with Appium framework using Java.
• Skilled in XCUITest for iOS and Espresso for Android UI testing.
• Proficiency in Sauce Labs or Perfecto for cloud-based device testing.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile operating systems and debugging network requests.
• Financial/Trading services industry experience.


Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with SWIFT/Kotlin programming languages.
• Understanding of working with RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to AI-assisted tooling like CoPilot.

Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
