Job Description

On behalf of our Creative Agency client, Procom is searching for a Motion Designer for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, TX office.

Motion Designer - Job Description:
This role involves leading motion-driven storytelling to elevate brand and product experiences through animation. The Motion Designer will focus on enhancing clarity, usability, and storytelling across digital platforms by integrating thoughtful animation into our client's digital experiences.

Motion Designer - Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver motion across digital experiences, including product animations and video content
• Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives
• Partner with UX/UI designers, creatives, and developers to integrate motion into product and marketing experiences
• Ensure a consistent, scalable motion language that balances brand expression, usability, and performance
• Create and refine supporting static assets as needed
• Uphold and evolve brand standards across digital touchpoints
• Present work, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a collaborative creative culture

Motion Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in motion design and animation
• Expert-level proficiency in After Effects
• Strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with Figma and Lottie for product integration
• Strong understanding of motion principles for UX
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance optimization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Motion Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working closely with product teams and engineering
• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting to cross-functional partners
