On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements - Job Description:
The Mutual Funds Analyst will be responsible for processing mutual fund trades and settlements as part of day-to-day operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory procedures and providing customer service support.

Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements - Responsibilities:
• Process mutual fund trades and settlements.
• Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies.
• Handle FundSERV transactions and money movements.
• Use Excel macros to support operational processes.
• Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures.

Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements - Mandatory Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, pivots, macros).
• 2-3 years of banking/financial experience.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to pick up internal systems quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptable to change and a quick learner.
• Team player with effective collaboration skills.

Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Trade settlements experience.
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation.

Mutual Funds Analyst - Trades, Settlements – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
