Network Designer - Intermediate:
On behalf of our Public Sector client, Procom is searching for a Network Designer - Intermediate for a 6 month contract role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Network Designer - Intermediate - Job Description:
Seeking a Network Designer for a critical project focused on network security architecture. The role involves implementing Azure solutions and enhancing network security measures within the current infrastructure.

Network Designer - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Plan, research, and design security architectures within the IT network
• Review current network security measures and recommend enhancements
• Develop and review installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices
• Validate IP ranges, routing, DNS, firewall, and migration-related connectivity dependencies
• Review high-level network topology, perform network assessments, and address gaps
• Confirm site-to-site VPN requirements and design Azure-side VPN connectivity approach
• Implement Azure firewall and configure Azure-side VPN Gateway / Local Network Gateway components
• Perform site-to-site VPN connectivity smoke testing and provide limited VPN/routing issue triage

Network Designer - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in network design and implementation
• Experience with Azure firewall implementation
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, and firewalls
• Ability to validate IP ranges, routing, DNS, firewall, and migration-related connectivity dependencies
• Experience in reviewing high-level network topology, performing network assessments, and addressing gaps

Network Designer - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public sector experience
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, Wireless Sec
• Certifications: AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect, AZ-700 – Azure Network Engineer

Network Designer - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
