On behalf of our airline client, Procom is searching for a Network Engineer Meraki, VXLAN Fabric & NFV for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Toronto office.
Network Engineer Meraki, VXLAN Fabric & NFV - Job Description:
This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale enterprise network infrastructures with a focus on Cisco Meraki deployments. The project includes modernizing network operations through VXLAN-enabled fabrics and integrating Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) solutions within hybrid environments.
Network Engineer Meraki, VXLAN Fabric & NFV - Responsibilities:
• Design and implement network infrastructures focused on Cisco Meraki deployments
• Architect and optimize VXLAN-enabled network fabrics
• Integrate NFV solutions including virtual firewalls and routers
• Lead network modernization initiatives involving SDN and policy-based automation
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki technologies
• Develop network designs aligned with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate secure networking solutions
Network Engineer Meraki, VXLAN Fabric & NFV - Mandatory Skills:
• Cisco Meraki Enterprise Networking
• VXLAN / EVPN Fabric Architecture
• Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)
• Cisco Nexus and Data Centre Technologies
• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)

• Network Automation (Python, APIs, Ansible, Terraform)
