Operational Conduct Risk Manager:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Operational Conduct Risk Manager for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montréal office.

Operational Conduct Risk Manager - Job Description:
The role involves monitoring and maintaining the permanent control framework of USD Clearing & Payments. The Operational Conduct Risk Manager will contribute to the governance structure, ensuring effective reporting and escalation of findings, while collaborating with various departments and the 2nd line of defense to uphold a strong control framework.

Operational Conduct Risk Manager - Responsibilities:
• Perform delivery of 1C control execution and reporting in a timely manner.
• Ensure control integrity of the data throughout the reporting production.
• Observe bank policies and procedures as USDCP P&P Custodian.
• Perform mandatory training monitoring for USDCP staff with a focus on breach prevention.
• Conduct monthly Key Risk Indicator monitoring and controls reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting/controls as requested by Senior USDCP Management.
• Prepare preliminary OPC Management Meeting governance documentation.
• Contribute to other parts of the OPC mandate as needed.

Operational Conduct Risk Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Around 5 years of experience in an audit or control role.
• Undergraduate degree with a preferred emphasis in math, finance, or business-related majors.
• Good knowledge of the financial/banking industry and bank operations.
• Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• High ethical standards.

Operational Conduct Risk Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Good knowledge of Payments Operations (SWIFT, CHIPS, FED, Correspondent Banking).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced technical skills in spreadsheets and databases.

Operational Conduct Risk Manager – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is until the end of 2026, renewable.

Montréal, Quebec, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
