Operational Risk Programs Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Operational Risk Programs Manager for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Operational Risk Programs Manager - Job Description:
This role supports the Operational Non-Financial Risk (ONFR) function by managing and overseeing three enterprise-wide risk programs. The position is a maternity leave replacement, critical to maintaining ongoing program governance, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Operational Risk Programs Manager - Responsibilities:
• Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
• Guides/assists in the identification and classification of issues; recommends action plans.
• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
• Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
• Assists in the development of strategic plans.
• Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
• Leads the development and maintenance of the governance system and framework.

Operational Risk Programs Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Between 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of operational risk management practices.
• Experience with risk policy frameworks; quality control/testing frameworks.
• Verbal & written communication skills.
• Collaboration & team skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven decision-making.

Operational Risk Programs Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
• Financial background.

Operational Risk Programs Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
