Procom is searching for an Operations Analyst – Billing Operations for a part-time role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Analyst to join the RUBIX Billing Operations team, accountable for providing end-to-end system and data expertise. This role involves contributing to strategic projects that drive technological advancement and organizational change within the Retail Energy sector.

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations - Responsibilities:
• Application development and support utilizing languages such as Python, C#, and Power Shell
• Assisting with automation, data analysis, and system improvements in a production billing environment
• Assist in identifying release risks and work with vendors & IT Support to resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality
• Assist with the daily production of customer invoices from the RUBIX Billing System
• Assist with quality control on RUBIX inputs and outputs
• Learn specific vendor operating, configuring & custom scripting documentation as directed
• Assist with ad-hoc querying of databases
• Assist with QA and functional testing support internal and/or vendor development teams with technical solutions to support Business needs while ensuring adherence to approved IT project delivery methods 

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with MS Office, specifically MS Excel for analytical purposes
• Ability to consolidate and manipulate large volumes of data and identify trends
• Experience with SQL queries and understanding database structure
• Experience in utility billing, specifically the Alberta energy market
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• SQL & Data analysis skills
• Software development experience
• Utility Billing system knowledge
• Testing & Quality assurance

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Operations Analyst – Billing Operations - Assignment Location:
Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – Hybrid model with 3 days in office. This position is for approx 20 hours per week.
