Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex - Job Description:
This role involves ensuring timely confirmation and settlement of FX options trades and involves working with the Murex platform. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for tracking unmatched transactions and addressing root causes, as well as supporting management in planning and implementing projects affecting the unit’s operations.

Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex - Responsibilities:
• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships
• Ensure timely confirmation and settlement of trades by tracking unmatched transactions
• Provide insight and support to management during project implementation
• Pro-actively monitor group activity to ensure internal control procedures are effective
• Support management in motivating staff and executing a robust training schedule
• Understand the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities
• Ensure adherence to business controls to meet operational and regulatory compliance

Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of experience with FX Options
• 2+ years of experience with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and controls
• Thorough grasp of operating systems and applications such as Murex and Xceptor

Operations Analyst – Settlements – FX options and Murex – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in derivatives settlement
• Proficiency in Spanish

This is a 6-month contract position.
