Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a Partnership Manager. This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (3 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Partnership Manager will join the Customer Segments team within Everyday Banking, responsible for end-to-end management and oversight of the bank’s retail partnerships. This role supports stakeholder management, business development, and relationship growth across a growing partnership portfolio. The position involves collaboration with multiple lines of business and regular interaction with senior leaders, contributing to strategic partnership initiatives and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of Everyday Banking partnerships.
- Manage expenses, sponsorships, internal and external partnerships, and events.
- Expand and deepen the existing partner network and relationships.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to facilitate and activate partnership opportunities.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform goals, service level agreements, and value proposition design.
- Develop and execute launch strategies and campaigns for key partnerships, including liaising with senior partners and delivering compelling presentations with visual aids.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in partnerships, segments, or strategy within a financial institution.
- Retail banking experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strategy or product background (non-marketing).
- Management or strategy education background.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with stakeholder management and business development in a banking environment.
- Familiarity with sponsorship and event management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and managing complex partnership initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in growing and managing partnership portfolios.
