Patient Services Representative:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Patient Services Representative for a six-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Oak Park, Illinois office.

Patient Services Representative - Job Description:
The Admissions Registration Specialist I is responsible for ensuring accurate and current patient registration information for all admissions and elective procedures. This role involves assisting patients in understanding their insurance options and financial responsibilities while maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor.

Patient Services Representative - Responsibilities:
• Collect, verify, and enter patient demographic and insurance information with high accuracy.
• Ensure all necessary documents are signed and scanned for admission completion.
• Accurately obtain and communicate patient insurance benefits.
• Determine and communicate patient financial obligations with respect.
• Perform registration functions according to regulatory and organizational policies.
• Execute the admission notification process to secure payment for inpatient stays.

Patient Services Representative - Mandatory Skills:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with EPIC.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Typing 25 WPM.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

Patient Services Representative – Assignment Length:
This is a six-month position.
