On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Payroll Processor for a part-time, 3 month contract role. This position is a remote position with potential onsite requirements at our client’s Toronto office.

Payroll Processor - Job Description
We're seeking a Payroll Processor to support ongoing payroll operations during a platform transition from UKG to Dayforce. This involves ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with US payroll regulations throughout the transition period.

Payroll Processor - Responsibilities
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule within UKG during the current operating period
• Transition payroll processing responsibilities to Dayforce once the platform goes live
• Ensure compliance with US payroll regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards throughout the transition
• Support data accuracy and continuity across the platform switch
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, and implementation teams to ensure a smooth cutover
• Flag and resolve payroll discrepancies or processing issues promptly

Payroll Processor - Mandatory Skills
• Strong, hands-on US payroll processing experience
• Experience with UKG payroll processing
• Experience with Dayforce payroll processing or strong platform adaptability
• Understanding of US payroll compliance, tax withholding, and reporting requirements
• Comfortable working in a transitional/implementation environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on a part-time schedule

Payroll Processor – Nice-to-Have Skills
• Prior experience supporting a payroll platform migration or parallel-run period
• Familiarity with Dayforce implementation processes

Payroll Processor – Assignment Length
This is a part-time contract role with duration tied to the client's broader Dayforce implementation timeline.
