Job Description

Planning and Scheduling Consultant:
On behalf of our public infrastructure client, Procom is searching for a Planning and Scheduling Consultant for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Burnaby office.

Planning and Scheduling Consultant - Job Description:
This role supports a major public infrastructure organization in the Greater Vancouver area with a large-scale capital infrastructure expansion program, valued at approximately $1B. The project involves providing planning and scheduling services to ensure successful commissioning over the next several years.

Planning and Scheduling Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Provide planning and scheduling services including integrated master schedule development and maintenance, schedule review and validation, and progress assessment
• Perform schedule performance analysis and reporting, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessments
• Conduct delay analysis and Time Impact Assessment (TIA) reviews
• Provide schedule assurance, recovery planning, project re-baselining, and strategic scheduling advisory services

Planning and Scheduling Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Intermediate (approx. 8–15 years) to Senior (15+ years) experience in planning and scheduling
• Direct capital-project experience required
• Strong preference for experience on municipal/government, public infrastructure or utility, or large complex capital programs
• Must be able to work onsite 4 days/week
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Planning and Scheduling Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Wastewater or water-treatment project experience
• Experience in teamwork-oriented environments
• Experience with accessible project management tools

Planning and Scheduling Consultant – Assignment Length:
The initial contract term is approximately 12 months, with potential extension up to 28 months based on performance and project needs.

Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Hybrid work model with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
