Project Manager - Markets / Technology:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Markets / Technology for a role approved through Dec 31, 2026. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Project Manager - Markets / Technology - Job Description:
Seeking a seasoned professional to join the Finance and Risk Technology team responsible for developing and delivering technology solutions that enhance controls, drive simplification, and modernize technology infrastructure. The role involves managing project coordination, providing mentorship, and ensuring adherence to SDLC methodologies.

Project Manager - Markets / Technology - Responsibilities:
• Establish best practices in alignment with the Technology Program and Project Manual
• Educate and support a team of PM’s to ensure delivery of projects in accordance with SDLC procedures
• Oversee project/program coordination for several areas within the Finance and Risk Technology portfolio
• Assist technology leads and project managers in managing a portfolio of programs and projects
• Manage several project metrics and associated KPIs periodically
• Enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the group
• Organize and facilitate project closure and complete benefit analysis

Project Manager - Markets / Technology - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of PMO or Program/Portfolio Management experience
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-initiated and productive when unsupervised
• Ability to multitask across multiple concurrent projects
• Confidence to structure, summarize, and present recommendations

Project Manager - Markets / Technology – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Banking/Financial services experience
• Experience in a large enterprise IT PMO environment
• PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., SAFe Agilist Certification)
• Experience with regulatory and compliance mandates
• Strong problem-solving skills

Project Manager - Markets / Technology – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position approved through Dec 31, 2026.
