Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves working on critical privacy impact assessments and ensuring compliance with privacy legislation. This is a new position with the Ontario Public Service (OPS) focused on evaluating privacy risks and compliance for new technologies and programs.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Lead or support the development of privacy impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with provincial, municipal, federal, and private sector privacy legislation.
• Interpret and apply privacy laws, regulations, and risk countermeasures.
• Conduct privacy assessments involving personal information and digital solutions.
• Engage with clients to address privacy concerns and mitigate risks.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experienced in privacy legislation including FIPPA, PHIPA, and PIPEDA.
• Experienced in conducting privacy assessments involving personal information.
• Experienced in leading privacy assessments with online or digital solutions.
• Experience with assessments involving personal health information and third-party solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and business audiences.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• OPS or Public Sector experience.
• Professional certification in IT security or architecture.
• Experience providing education and training related to privacy.
• Familiarity with OPS Privacy Impact Assessment Process and Tools.
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA).

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Start Date:
ASAP.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
