On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior for a 5-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior will lead the development of Privacy Impact Assessments to ensure compliance with privacy legislation. The role involves evaluating new technologies and systems to meet legal privacy requirements and mitigate risks.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
• Evaluate new technologies and information systems for privacy compliance
• Ensure alignment with privacy legislation and regulations
• Identify and mitigate privacy risks
• Address client concerns related to privacy

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with privacy legislation such as FIPPA, PHIPA, and PIPEDA
• Conducting privacy assessments involving personal information
• Leading privacy assessments for online and digital solutions
• Assessing personal health information and third-party solutions
• Excellent knowledge of privacy and security concepts
• Experience in a public sector context
• Strong communication skills

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• OPS or public sector experience
• Professional certification in IT security or architecture
• Experience with OPS processes and templates
• Knowledge of digital identity frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud-based digital wallet technologies

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract position.
