Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a Process Analyst - Intermediate.
This is an onsite contract role in Toronto (5 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Process Analyst is responsible for evaluating current business processes, service request workflows, and forms to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to redesign processes, enhance service request experiences, and improve workflow efficiency in alignment with organizational standards and service management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and service request fulfillment models.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions to document current-state process maps and pain points.
- Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and manual activities; recommend simplification, standardization, and automation opportunities.
- Design future-state workflows and streamlined operating models to eliminate redundant approvals and administrative tasks.
- Review and optimize ServiceNow service request forms and catalog items to improve usability and self-service adoption.
- Gather and document business requirements; translate operational needs into functional requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills:
- Business process modeling and process mapping expertise.
- Experience with ServiceNow service request forms and catalog management.
- Ability to write clear, well-structured business requirements documents.
- Proficient in stakeholder engagement and facilitation techniques.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle and project management methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Math, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Information Technology.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with workflow automation and operational streamlining.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn organizational structures and business strategies.
- Experience managing project documentation including implementation plans, issue logs, and process maps.
- Proven track record in coordinating process implementation and resolving minor conflicts prior to escalation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess, research, and document stakeholder needs effectively.
