Job Description

BMO is currently sourcing for a Product Consultant, Recruitment Digitization (Workday).
This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (1 day in office per week).

Role Overview:

The Product Consultant supports the Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence by advancing and maintaining the recruitment technology roadmap. This role focuses on delivering scalable digital solutions, managing change requests, and ensuring system stability and compliance. It plays a key part in strategic planning and collaborates closely with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regression testing and validation of Workday Talent Acquisition processes across system changes to ensure end-to-end integrity.
  • Support delivery of governance and regulatory-driven updates to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
  • Validate and refine requirements for Workday Change Requests in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement solutions based on issue analysis and business impact.
  • Assist in strategic planning and prioritization of business initiatives.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical support and collaborate on root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Assess project impacts, benefits, and risks when scope changes occur.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Postsecondary education.
  • In-depth testing experience.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, iterative).
  • Familiarity with requirements analysis and problem decomposition techniques.
  • Understanding of technical/business environments including Microsoft technologies, relational databases, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of business analysis and project delivery practices across the project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, influence, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Workday Pro Certification.
  • Relevant postsecondary qualifications.
  • Previous financial industry experience, especially with BMO.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting recruitment technology solutions within a large enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a primarily remote setting while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven track record of managing change requests and ensuring system compliance and stability.

Qualifications

Previous financial industry experience, especially with BMO.: 0 - 5 years (Desired)
