On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Product Designer – Banking Web Properties for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Product Designer – Banking Web Properties - Job Description:
We are seeking a forward-thinking Product Designer to join our Commerce Experience (.COM) Team in Marketing. As the Product Designer for bank-owned web properties, you will drive design quality and outcomes across complex problem spaces, focusing on end-to-end experience design. This role involves designing intuitive, accessible, and high-quality digital experiences across web platforms, advocating for the customer within a regulated banking environment.

Product Designer – Banking Web Properties - Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver high-quality, end-to-end UX solutions across complex products, features, and journeys on website.
• Apply user-centered design principles to balance client needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design artifacts that clearly communicate experience intent, design rationale, and tradeoffs.
• Advocate for usability, accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive design standards.
• Explore AI and emerging technologies to augment human-centered design while considering trust, ethics, and transparency.
• Own the solution to complex, ambiguous design problems at the product or journey level.
• Manage timelines and dependencies, anticipating risks, and escalating early to keep work moving.

Product Designer – Banking Web Properties - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience designing for responsive web and native mobile platforms.
• Expertise in Figma for digital design and prototyping.
• Experience with Design Systems, including design guidelines and brand guidelines.
• Solid understanding of Human-Centered Design practices.
• Provide links to an online portfolio with static and motion work samples.

Product Designer – Banking Web Properties – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience creating wireframes for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) pages.
• High technical acuity and understanding of front-end technologies.
• Previous experience within Financial Institutions.

Product Designer – Banking Web Properties – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE based on performance and finance.
