Product Designer - Wealth:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Product Designer - Wealth for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Product Designer - Wealth - Job Description:
The project involves supporting a new initiative in the wealth department, focusing on designing and evolving reusable native mobile components for the bank's trading mobile app. The role requires collaboration with development teams to ensure scalable and accessible design solutions.

Product Designer - Wealth - Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain reusable native mobile components, patterns, and interaction models for iOS and Android.
• Define component specifications, visual standards, and accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure components are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
• Conduct design reviews and Design QA to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, usage guidelines, and Figma libraries.
• Support design system governance and best practices.
• Contribute to AI-ready design system assets through structured documentation.

Product Designer - Wealth - Mandatory Skills:
• Expertise in building and maintaining design systems for native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Strong understanding of native iOS and Android design patterns and accessibility requirements.
• Effective communication of conceptual ideas and design approaches.
• Close collaboration with development teams.
• Creative and visually compelling design portfolio.
• Practical experience with WCAG accessibility standards.

Product Designer - Wealth – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• FI Experience.
• Expertise using AI-driven tools.
• Investing experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows.
• Experience with mobile-first design systems.

Product Designer - Wealth – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in the office.
