Product Owner:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Product Owner for a 12 month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

Product Owner - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of multiple digital products and platforms. The successful candidate will manage concurrent initiatives, translating business objectives into clear product requirements and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, design, and development teams.

Product Owner - Responsibilities:
• Manage and prioritize multiple products and projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with business objectives and available capacity
• Own and maintain multiple product backlogs, ensuring work is prioritized based on business value and strategic importance
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
• Define and maintain product roadmaps across initiatives, ensuring visibility of priorities, dependencies, and timelines
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams across multiple initiatives
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering activities
• Lead agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews

Product Owner - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or related roles
• Proven experience managing and delivering multiple digital products or projects concurrently
• Strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product lifecycle management
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including UX, development, QA, and business stakeholders
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and defining acceptance criteria
• Experience with customer-facing digital products or ecommerce platforms

Product Owner – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
• Experience with product analytics and performance measurement
• Knowledge of Web and mobile UI design
• Knowledge of user experience best practices
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills
