Product Owner - mid level:
On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for a Product Owner - mid level for a 4-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, TX, Southlake, TX, El Paso, TX and Phoenix, AZ offices. 

Product Owner - mid level - Job Description:
The successful candidate will manage product features, client journeys, and application platforms used to assess the validity of client logins. This involves building a feature/product/channel roadmap, leading product discovery activities, and creating product stories with acceptance criteria. The role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and interaction with vendors to support various platforms.

Product Owner - mid level - Responsibilities:
• Build a feature/product/channel roadmap to articulate and drive priorities
• Lead product discovery activities and collaborate with UX, tech, and business partners
• Create and define product stories with acceptance criteria based on client needs
• Develop a deep understanding of customers using data and research
• Interact with vendors for platform support and upgrades
• Explore and propose suitable technologies and techniques
• Identify and manage risks in current and proposed solutions
• Work with technology partners and vendors on authentication techniques
• Collaborate with channel partners on online identity management processes
• Create a release plan with the scrum team and other business lines
• Monitor performance through reporting on KBIs and production support metrics
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders through clear communication
• Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders and sales staff

Product Owner - mid level - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or business
• Prior product management experience with online security, authentication, fraud, and/or digital identity
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Superior analytical ability with attention to detail
• Ability to influence and drive outcomes
• Documented experience in agile product development
• Experience with user testing and competitive intelligence

Product Owner - mid level – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with the Financial Services industry
• Strong interest/passion for the industry
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Product Owner - mid level – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position.
