Product/Project Procurement Manager:
On behalf of our aerospace client, Procom is searching for a Product/Project Procurement Manager for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Orlando, Florida office.

Product/Project Procurement Manager - Job Description:
This position involves managing procurement processes for in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions. The Product/Project Procurement Manager will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize procurement strategies, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.

Product/Project Procurement Manager - Responsibilities:
• Challenge acquisition needs and promote design to cost analysis with suppliers
• Define acquisition strategy considering market offers and innovations
• Validate procure-ability aspects of product or project design
• Execute acquisition plans in line with targets for time, quality, and cost
• Liaise with technical teams and Family Buyers to monitor purchasing plans
• Comply with acquisition processes and use organizational tools
• Present supplier innovations to influence solution designs

Product/Project Procurement Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with 8-12+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years
• Understanding of Make/Buy approaches and supplier risk assessment
• Experience in designing solutions for customers
• Ability to manage by influence and handle conflicts
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal formats
• Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
• Experience with global supply chain management

Product/Project Procurement Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in aerospace/avionics industry
• Total cost analysis expertise
• Strategic sourcing or competitive RFQs experience
• Familiarity with SAP and engineering databases
• Cost savings initiative experience
