Program Manager – AI Implementation
On behalf of our Education client, Procom is searching for a Program Manager – AI Implementation for a 9–12 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

Program Manager – AI Implementation - Job Description:
The Senior Program Manager – AI Implementation will lead the delivery of high-priority AI use cases aligned with client’s AI strategy. This role ensures efficient progress from concept through pilot and into operational use, aligning with governance, risk, privacy, and change principles.

Program Manager – AI Implementation - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of prioritized AI use cases from initiation through pilot and implementation.
• Translate use cases into delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and success measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Academic and non-Academic areas, IT, and vendors.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure outputs align with expectations.
• Deliver work within client’s AI governance framework and policies. 
• Support practical adoption of delivered AI capabilities and manage change impacts.
• Provide concise updates to senior leaders and track progress, risks, and outcomes.

Program Manager – AI Implementation - Mandatory Skills:
• 7–10+ years of experience in program or senior project management.
• Experience delivering AI, analytics, or automation into operational environments.
• Strong understanding of AI implementation realities.
• Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication skills.

Program Manager – AI Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in post-secondary or higher education environments.
• Experience with AI or digital initiatives in complex institutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP and student systems.
• Ability to understand institutional platforms and data flows.

Program Manager – AI Implementation – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for 9–12 months.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
