Program Manager/Technology - Senior:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Program Manager/Technology - Senior for a 12 month contract.This position is a hybrid position.

Program Manager/Technology - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves managing complex software development programs with a focus on Java-based applications. The Program Manager will work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with technical strategies and priorities, while also facilitating smooth delivery across organizational boundaries.

Program Manager/Technology - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Engage with development teams to understand system architecture and provide Java engineering guidance.
• Identify and resolve technical risks through collaboration with various teams.
• Guide teams in dependency management and service interactions.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of software development programs.
• Manage cross-functional workstreams and maintain clear ownership.
• Establish program dashboards and communication mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD pipeline robustness.
• Advocate for development teams and facilitate stakeholder communication.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Program Manager/Technology - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of project/program management experience.
• Strong Java engineering experience.
• Proven history of delivering complex programs.
• Ability to navigate and influence within matrixed organizations.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Program Manager/Technology - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
• Experience with modern integration patterns.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Program Manager/Technology - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract.

Phoenix, Arizona, United States. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
