Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a Non IT Program Manager. This is a contract role based onsite in an unspecified city.
Role Overview:
The Non IT Program Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities across various non-IT projects such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-outs. The role involves detailed project planning, resource assessment, and integration of technical activities to ensure successful project delivery and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee staff competence development and maintenance.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess project feasibility.
Must-Have Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management.
- Basic understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Proficiency with computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
Nice to Have Skills:
- PMI or PMP certification.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in program or project management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
