Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness - Job Description:
The role involves supporting business operations of the Core Banking and Payments Tech team, focusing on financial governance, resource management, and contract management. The candidate will be engaged in resource onboarding, financial management, and creating and documenting new projects.

Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness - Responsibilities:
• Maintain project financial forecasts and monitor progress
• Manage and reconcile project financials, including accruals and GL reconciliation
• Prepare and deliver financial and status reporting for leadership teams
• Lead governance activities and improve operational processes
• Support resource allocation governance and provide first-line user support
• Create and enhance operational processes for efficiency
• Assist in preparing executive presentations and conducting ad hoc analysis

Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-10 years of experience in Project Coordination & Business Effectiveness
• Experience managing program and project financials
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven mindset
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in process documentation and improvement
• Demonstrated leadership capability

Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working within Banking
• Familiarity with GL reconciliation processes and Eclipse tool
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with Jira, Power BI, and Alteryx, Confluence

Project Control Officer/Business Consultant - Business Effectiveness – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to FTE based on performance and business needs.
