Project Control Officer - Remote
On behalf of our Information Technology client, Procom is searching for a Project Control Officer for an 8-month role. This position is a fully remote position with the candidate required to reside in Ontario due to OPS policy.

Project Control Officer - Job Description:
The APEX/ORDS Evergreening project aims to upgrade the technical stack for five critical applications. This initiative involves upgrading systems software and hardware components to ensure compliance with Ontario's Digital and Data Strategy, with cloud hosting as a targeted outcome.

Project Control Officer - Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to project managers and project team in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components.
• Collaborate with various groups to gather updates and maintain project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, and risk management updates.
• Work alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate issues, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables.
• Coordinate and track user acceptance testing activities.
• Develop project status reports and maintain status reporting logs.
• Schedule meetings and monitor project document repository to ensure documents are reviewed and maintained.

Project Control Officer - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience collaborating with various groups for project updates and maintenance.
• Experience working with project managers on updates, risk identification, and document deliverables.
• Business analysis experience with end-user/client communication.
• Experience coordinating and tracking user acceptance testing activities.
• Experience in a professional environment supporting project managers and critical projects.
• Experience developing project status reports.
• Experience monitoring project document repository.

Project Control Officer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Planview).
• Understanding of basic Project Management concepts.
• Experience using AI to assist with project artifacts.
• Experience creating and presenting using PowerPoint or alternatives.

Project Control Officer – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.

ASAP.

Project Control Officer - Assignment Location:
Remote, with the candidate required to reside in Ontario.
