Project Controller:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Project Controller for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office.

Project Controller - Job Description:
The Project Controller will provide project management support services, focusing on project initiation, cost management, change management, and progress measurement. The role involves collaborating with project managers to develop and review project plans, estimates, schedules, and contractual requirements, ensuring project schedule and cost objectives are met. 

Project Controller - Responsibilities:
• Provides input to PC Organizational structure and maintains staffing worksheet
• Reviews Estimate and maps to the control WBS
• Sets up control WBS and budgets in SAP
• Provides input into project controls plan
• Ensures project has appropriate AFE funding
• Completes requisitions for commitment of project materials and services
• Monitors cost and committed to budget and forecast
• Updates cost management system with time-phased data, contractor progress, and project trends
• Interfaces with project management, engineering, construction, and procurement departments for project forecasting and trends
• Participates in HRIM and QRA meetings and updates budgets and forecasts accordingly

Project Controller - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree with 5 to 10 years of related experience
• Understanding of Earned Value Management, rules of credit, and progress measurement
• Experience with executing moderate-risk capital projects
• Good to excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in SAP for setting up control WBS and budgets
• Ability to analyze and report on project data and costs
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Project Controller  – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Field experience
• Experience with different asset types such as pipe and facilities
• Experience in both Development and Implementation phases
• Ability to make project presentations to management
• Familiarity with project close-out activities

Project Controller – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
