Project Controller Intermediate:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Project Controller (Intermediate) for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas 77002 office.

Project Controller Intermediate - Job Description:
The Project Controller (Intermediate) will provide project management support services in areas such as cost management, change management, and project close-out. The role involves collaborating with project managers to ensure the achievement of project schedule and cost objectives through the development and implementation of project controls.

Project Controller Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Provide input on PC organizational structure and maintain staffing worksheet
• Review estimates and map to the control WBS
• Set up control WBS and budgets in SAP
• Review schedules and maintain a list of project key milestones
• Ensure appropriate AFE funding for projects
• Complete incurred costs reporting and variance explanations
• Monitor cost progress and performance metrics
• Prepare detailed project cost reports and project scans
• Participate in HRIM and QRA meetings to update budgets and forecasts
• Provide support to Senior Project Controls

Project Controller Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree with 5 to 10 years of related experience
• Understanding of Earned Value Management and progress measurement
• Experience with cost management systems and SAP
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to analyze and report on project data and costs
• Experience in project forecasting and trends
• Field experience considered an asset

Project Controller Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with moderate-risk capital projects
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Knowledge of project management software
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Experience with both Development and Implementation phases

Project Controller Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 24-month contract position.
