Project Controls Consultant:
On behalf of our consulting client, Procom is searching for a Project Controls Consultant for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Burnaby, BC office.

Project Controls Consultant - Job Description:
Our client, a consulting firm supporting a major public infrastructure organization in the Greater Vancouver area, is seeking an experienced Project Controls Consultant for a large-scale capital infrastructure expansion program (~$1B). The project is expected to run through commissioning over the next several years.

Project Controls Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Provide project controls resources to support project delivery, governance, reporting, administration, assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide commercial management, contract administration, and commercial advisory support, including procurement support, contract governance, contract negotiations, change order management, claims and dispute resolution support, and contract closeout activities
• Support project and program teams in applying and maintaining project controls processes, procedures, and best practices
• Conduct peer reviews and project reviews to assess compliance with project controls requirements and promote consistency across projects

Project Controls Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Intermediate (approx. 8–15 years) to Senior (15+ years) experience in project controls, contract administration, or project assurance
• Direct capital-project experience required
• Strong preference for experience on municipal/government, public infrastructure or utility, or large complex capital programs
• Must be able to work onsite 4 days/week
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship

Project Controls Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Wastewater or water-treatment project experience

Project Controls Consultant – Assignment Length:
The initial contract term is approximately 12 months, with potential extension up to 28 months based on performance and project needs.

Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Hybrid work model with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
