The incumbent will be expected to deliver executive level project delivery leadership for the INFOR Work Force Management (WFM) scheduling solution across VCH and PHC, ensuring its safe implementation, clear governance, and executive decision?readiness across WFM project and its integration with Provincial Workday upgrade initiative. This role leads governance, financial oversight, and cross-health authority coordination (PHSA, VCH, PHC) to ensure informed executive decision-making, effective risk management, and successful organizational outcomes.

• Integrated Risk, Control & Dependency Register
• Implementation of Quality & Go Live Readiness Decision Gates
• Executive Decision Papers and Approvals
• Cross-HA Alignment Plan (PHSA, VCH, PHC)
• Approved WFM Operating Model (post-go-live)

 

Project Director - WFM Implementation Mandatory Skills

• Executive Leadership: 10–15+ years leading large-scale, high-risk enterprise programs with direct executive and steering committee engagement
• Healthcare & WFM Expertise: Experience delivering workforce management, payroll, or HRIS solutions within Canadian healthcare, including unionized environments
• Program Delivery: Proven track record leading and stabilizing complex multi-year implementations with significant scope, schedule, and quality challenges
• Financial Oversight: Strong experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasts, variances, and financial controls tied to delivery outcomes
• Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage SaaS vendors and system integrators, including contract oversight, change control, and dispute resolution
• Governance: Experience designing and enforcing governance models, decision rights, and escalation frameworks across multiple organizations
• Cross-Organization Alignment: Proven ability to lead and align stakeholders across multiple organizations with shared accountability and differing priorities
• Risk & Go-Live Readiness: Strong capability in risk management and establishing go-live readiness, quality gates, and safe deployment criteria
• Operating Model: Experience defining and transitioning to sustainable post–go-live operating models with reduced vendor dependency
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Infor WFM, UKG/Kronos, Workday, or similar SaaS platforms and their integration with payroll systems
