On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Cybersecurity for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga, Ontario office.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity - Job Description:
The Project Manager - Cybersecurity and OT is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering cybersecurity and operational technology initiatives that support secure, reliable, and resilient airport operations. This role ensures cybersecurity projects are delivered in a structured, practical, and business-aligned way while supporting the protection of critical systems and operational environments.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity - Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and delivery of cybersecurity and OT projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, resource needs, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Coordinate activities across Cybersecurity, IT, OT, vendors, and business teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with operational needs.
• Track project risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies, and escalate items that may impact delivery, safety, security, or operations.
• Maintain clear project reporting, including status updates, schedules, action items, RAID logs, and executive-level summaries.
• Support procurement, vendor coordination, statement of work review, delivery oversight, and acceptance of project deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of program management practices, tools, and standards within the Cybersecurity team.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery tracking.
• Experience managing projects involving cybersecurity program and control implementation.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including identity and access management, network security, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security, endpoint security, and OT security controls.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, balance priorities, and keep stakeholders aligned on decisions, risks, and next steps.
• Experience using project management tools and practices such as schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, status dashboards, change control, and stage-gate reviews.
• Ability to translate technical project information into clear business updates, practical decisions, and actionable next steps.
• A proactive, self-directed mindset and the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced program environment.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• PMP – Project Management Professional.
• CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity management certification.
• GICSP, GRID, or other OT/ICS security certification.
• Microsoft Security Certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, or AZ-500.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management certification.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity – Assignment Length:
6 months contract.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity - Start Date:
ASAP.
Project Manager - Cybersecurity - Assignment Location:
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
