Project manager, General HCM - Workday Transformation 
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Project manager, Technical integration & provincial data hub-  Workday Program.

Project manager, General HCM - Workday Transformation Job Details   The Project Manager owns end-to-end delivery of the General HCM workstream: Core HCM, Organizations, Job and Position Management, Compensation foundation, Business Processes and Security. The role turns design decisions into an integrated plan, drives configuration and testing to schedule, and lands Core HCM as the stable foundation that Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting and Integrations depend on.
Key responsibilities
Planning and delivery

• Build and own the General HCM integrated workplan across Architect, Configure and Prototype, Test, Deploy and Hypercare.
• Track scope, schedule, dependencies and critical path; report status, RAG and forecasts weekly.
• Coordinate design sessions and workshops with all eight Health Organizations; drive decisions to closure on time.
• Manage RAID: log, escalate and resolve risks, issues, actions and decisions through program governance.
• Functional coordination
• Align HCM design with Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting and Reporting.
• Partner with the Digital stream on integrations, data conversion and tenant builds affecting HCM.
• Own the HCM portion of the data conversion plan: load cycles, reconciliation and sign-off.
• Manage configuration change requests and keep design documents (workbooks, BP definitions, security groups) current.
• Testing and readiness
• Assist with HCM test phases (unit, end-to-end, parallel support, UAT) against approved entrance and exit criteria.
• Track defects to resolution with Team Workday (TWD) and Health Organization testers.
• Feed change management and training with design impacts, role changes and process maps.
• Plan cutover and hypercare activities for the HCM workstream.
• Required qualifications
• 7+ years of project management, including 5+ years delivering Workday or comparable cloud HCM.
• At least one full-lifecycle Workday HCM implementation from Architect through Hypercare, in a PM or workstream lead role.
• Working knowledge of Workday Core HCM: supervisory organizations, staffing models, job and position management, business processes and security.
• Proven delivery in multi-stakeholder environments with unionized workforces and complex org structures.
• Experience managing an implementation partner against a SOW.
• Strong RAID, schedule and status reporting discipline; fluent in MS Project, ADO, Smartsheet or similar.
• Clear written and verbal communication, from SMEs to executive sponsors.
• Preferred qualifications
• Public sector or healthcare Workday experience, ideally multi-organization or shared-services.
• Workday Pro or partner certification in HCM.
• PMP, PgMP, Prosci or SAFe certification.
• Experience with collective agreements and BC public sector HR (HEABC, FOIPPA).
• Hands-on tenant navigation: can read configuration, run reports and validate test results directly.
