Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Global Payroll Provider for an 18-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Waterloo, Ontario office.

Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Job Description:
The project involves the consolidation and migration of 8–9 payroll vendors into two, as part of the global payroll transformation program. The successful candidate will lead this high-visibility initiative to unify the payroll landscape under a single vendor, ensuring technical stability, compliance, and operational readiness.

Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain the global implementation master schedule.
• Lead a cross-functional “Working Team” to align technical delivery with change impacts.
• Act as the primary bridge between Payroll and IT/HRIS teams.
• Design and oversee UAT and Parallel Run strategies.
• Serve as the main point of escalation with the global payroll vendor.
• Own the alignment of change management activities with implementation delivery.

Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in Global Payroll, HR Project Management, or HRIS Implementation.
• Proven experience managing multi-country vendor transitions.
• Deep understanding of payroll compliance and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with change management and project management.
• Comfortable working with data and storytelling insights.

Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Workday.
• Experience in large-scale transformation delivery.
• Ability to identify root causes across data and processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement.

Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation – Assignment Length:
This is an 18-month contract position.
