Project Manager II:
On behalf of our engineering client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager II for a full-time role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

Job Description:
The Project Manager II will oversee and coordinate non-IT projects in areas such as engineering, research and development, and product roll-out. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating project activities to achieve goals and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

Mandatory Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Expert knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Expert knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience in financial systems project management.
• Familiarity with market demand analysis.
• Experience with client negotiation and consultation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Assignment Location:
Houston, Texas, United States. This position is hybrid with 4 days required in the office.
