Project Manager IV:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager IV for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton or Calgary office.

Project Manager IV - Job Description:
The Project Manager IV will lead overall project management, development, engineering, and scoping activities across the full project lifecycle within the Liquids Pipelines Business Unit. The role involves managing capital growth, maintenance, or pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Project Manager IV - Responsibilities:
• Lead overall project management, development, engineering, and scoping activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Own project scope, schedule, cost estimate, execution plan, contracting strategy, procurement, risks, and supporting documentation.
• Manage, review, and approve third-party engineering deliverables, including drawings, technical reports, and material requisitions, against budget and schedule.
• Review vendor quotations, evaluate technical bids, recommend selections, and support material procurement with Supply Chain.
• Ensure projects are fit for purpose and comply with regulatory, environmental, health and safety, industry code, and corporate standard requirements.
• Coordinate and support design reviews, constructability reviews, PHA reviews, and related project assurance activities.
• Lead or support business initiatives, including cost-saving opportunities aligned with project business justification.

Project Manager IV - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Project Management, or related field).
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change.
• Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
• Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge.
• Effectively communicate technical and project issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Project Manager IV – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and reporting for engineering projects.
• High degree of professional judgment, creativity, and latitude.
• Passion for advancing project management and engineering systems.

Project Manager IV – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position.

Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
