Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead for a 9-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead - Job Description:
This role involves leading a critical HR/Payroll system upgrade project for the Ontario Public Service. The project focuses on the functional design, analysis, configuration, and quality assurance of the PeopleSoft HCM platform, specifically version 9.2+.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead - Responsibilities:
• Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
• Offer functional advice to clients and teams, leveraging PeopleSoft HCM knowledge to meet project goals.
• Lead the analysis, design, and configuration of the OPS enterprise HR/Payroll system.
• Analyze, evaluate, and prioritize potential issues and provide advice on resolution.
• Lead functional teams for analysis, design, and configuration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee functional tests, system integration, load, performance, user acceptance, and payroll parallel testing.
• Apply quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and structured methodology, including defect tracking and handling.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• PeopleSoft HCM Functional expertise in analysis, design, and configuration.
• Significant knowledge of HR and Payroll business functions related to OraclePeopleSoft 9.2+ HCM applications.
• Experience leading functional teams for project lifecycle analysis, design, and configuration.
• Experience with quality assurance principles and defect tracking.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5+ years of functional lead experience and 5+ years as a QA.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute’s PMBOK.
• Understanding of Information Management principles.
• Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA).

Project Manager/Leader - Senior-PeopleSoft Functional/Quality Assurance Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position with potential for extension.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
