Project Manager/Leader - Senior:
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Leader - Senior for a 15-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves managing high-profile projects within the branch, focusing on business transformation and IT solutions implementation. The Project Manager will oversee complex projects involving web-based applications, cloud services, and API integrations.

Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide project management for various high-profile projects within the branch
• Ensure project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope, and budget
• Interact with senior staff within the ministry and manage relationships
• Lead organizational development, strategy development, and business planning
• Develop complex project budgets and ensure fiscal control and accountability
• Manage and monitor project progress, critical path activities, and report on slippage
• Identify and manage issues, review issue status, and produce issue logs
• Establish and participate in steering committee and stakeholder forums

Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Over 10+ years of project management experience with complex, mission-critical projects
• 10+ years of experience with web-based applications and cloud-based micro-services
• 7+ years of experience with Agile project management practices
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Microsoft DevOps Azure
• Experience with cloud technology such as MS Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker
• Demonstrated strong leadership, collaboration, and people management skills
• Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience

Project Manager/Leader - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
• Experience with Digital Health Standards, including HL7 FHIR
• Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts and processes
• Experience with the delivery of large complex IT Health-related projects
• Knowledge of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA)

This is a 15-month contract position.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
