Project Manager/Leader Senior:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Leader Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Project Manager/Leader Senior - Job Description:
This critical project management position involves leading large-scale IT projects, focusing on modernization and legacy system replacement. The role requires managing project activities using both traditional and innovative methodologies.

Project Manager/Leader Senior - Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the development of detailed scope requirements, budgeting, and resource management
• Oversee planning and scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting
• Manage and mitigate project issues and risks, and prepare and execute change requests
• Develop and execute a Change Management Plan and stakeholder management strategies
• Supervise multidisciplinary and inter-divisional project teams
• Provide strategic advice and respond to requests from senior management on project issues

Project Manager/Leader Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience on large-scale IT projects
• Experience with agile, waterfall, and iterative methodologies
• 10+ years of experience leading project activities and overseeing project documentation
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience
• PMP® Certification from PMI (Current Status: Active / In good standing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in government/public sector settings

Project Manager/Leader Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with contract negotiations and vendor management
• Strong process management and controls
• Ability to achieve business objectives through effective stakeholder collaboration
• Knowledge of current change management methodologies
• Experience with organizational change management

Project Manager/Leader Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of a 6-month extension.

ASAP.

Project Manager/Leader Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
