Business Analyst/Project Manager:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst/Project Manager for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s MIssissauga office.

Business Analyst/Project Manager - Job Description:
The role will be part of a Markets Program Execution Team responsible for ensuring the timely execution of technical data-centric deliverables. The focus is on onboarding critical datasets to a strategic datalake and supporting data model design. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise and deliver functional and sustainable solutions.

Business Analyst/Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Support the Senior Project Managers in onboarding critical datasets to a strategic datalake
• Assist in designing strategic data models
• Own the delivery of key project streams, ensuring actions and milestones are accurately tracked and reported
• Collaborate with Technology teams and Business stakeholders for design and review of strategic datamodels
• Define data entitlement levels with Compliance and Business stakeholders
• Maintain disciplined data governance and access controls
• Manage end-to-end onboarding of datasets using SQL
• Lead or participate in working groups to understand business requirements and manage timelines
• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives
• Identify and resolve or escalate risks and issues promptly
• Produce accurate project update materials for various forums and committees
• Build strong relationships to support program execution

Business Analyst/Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of Cash securities, ETDs, and OTC products
• Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle and coordinating delivery across teams
• Experience in daily management and tracking of technical deliveries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive initiatives with minimal direction

Business Analyst/Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with large datasets and database migrations
• Working knowledge of Tableau
• Familiarity with Front to Back flow of trade data (Trade, Position, Risk, P&L)

Business Analyst/Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.

Mississauga, ONT, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office.
