Project Manager - Operational Technology:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Operational Technology for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

Project Manager - Operational Technology - Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Operational Technology (OT) Initiatives. The role involves managing a collection of OT projects, including version upgrades to critical systems and Critical Infrastructure Protection projects ensuring compliance.

Project Manager - Operational Technology - Responsibilities:
• Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment of technology with business objectives and operational needs.
• Establish and maintain strong credibility with executives, steering committees, and frontline teams.
• Present project updates, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
• Balance technical implementation with operational business processes.
• Adhere to governance frameworks and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and variance.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and challenges proactively.
• Engage the services of ATCO's Managed Service Provider as per established processes.
• Complete regular status reporting as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Manage 3rd party contractors, their deliverables, timescales, and costs.
• Travel to Vegreville weekly to meet and develop relationships with OT leadership.
• Actively manage budget forecasts, accruals, and variance reporting.

Project Manager - Operational Technology - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience delivering multi-stakeholder projects.
• Expertise in creating detailed project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Strong proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience with developing and delivering executive-level presentations.
• Risk management expertise.
• Familiarity with IT/OT governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project Manager - Operational Technology – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working with regulated utilities.
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with managed service provider engagement processes.
• Business analysis skills.

Project Manager - Operational Technology – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential extensions.
