Project Manager:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Raleigh, NC office.

Project Manager - Job Description:
At Hitachi Energy, we help shape the future of energy by delivering complex, high-voltage substation and grid integration projects. This role involves leading high-value EPC projects from early planning through execution, commissioning, and phased energization, supporting the global energy transition.

Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of grid integration and substation projects
• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned with customer expectations
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and overall financial performance
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energization activities
• Monitor project performance using earned value management tools
• Support contract negotiations, change management, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Communicate clear, timely project status updates to customers and stakeholders

Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
• Experience leading large-scale EPC projects, preferably in grid, power, or heavy industrial sectors
• Proven execution experience with Tier-1 EPC contractors or owner-engineers
• Strong capability in schedule control, cost management, and stakeholder alignment
• Work authorization to be employed in the United States

Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in renewable integration projects
• Familiarity with digital substations
• Knowledge of earned value management tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
