On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Technology - Expert for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Southlake, Texas office.

Project Manager/Technology - Expert - Job Description:
Join a team leading significant technical transformation in Broker-Dealer Systems and modernizing core technology infrastructure. This role involves leading AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle, building intelligent systems that impact millions of people's retirement security.

Project Manager/Technology - Expert - Responsibilities:
• Lead teams in AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle
• Design and lead large software development programs
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Utilize GenAI coding assistants for engineering workflows
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders
• Establish team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development

Project Manager/Technology - Expert - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML implementation and production deployment
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Experience in cloud deployment in a CI/CD model
• Prior experience in IT Transformations and system modernization initiatives
• Understanding of broker-dealer capabilities and operations

Project Manager/Technology - Expert – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like Rabbit MQ or Kafka
• Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA and Confluence)
• Experience in Test Driven Development and QA Automation
