Prompt Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Prompt Engineer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Prompt Engineer - Job Description:
The Prompt Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and operationalizing AI prompts and workflows that support decision-making across Capital Markets and Commercial Banking functions. This role focuses on bridging front-office business needs with AI-driven insights, ensuring accurate, timely, and context-aware outputs aligned with market dynamics and regulatory requirements.

Prompt Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize AI prompts for trading desks, sales workflows, research generation, pricing analytics, and risk reporting
• Translate complex Capital Markets workflows into effective AI-driven interactions tailored to specific personas such as traders and risk managers
• Ensure AI outputs are context-aware and decision-ready, enabling scenario analysis, trade recommendations, and risk insights
• Integrate AI prompts with enterprise data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Graph, Dataverse, and trading/risk systems
• Continuously evaluate and improve prompt performance using real trading scenarios and stakeholder feedback
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and embed governance, privacy, and explainability guardrails in AI workflows
• Develop and maintain a centralized prompt library to promote best practices and accelerate AI adoption across the organization

Prompt Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in Capital Markets and Commercial Banking Sales, including credit adjudication, AML/KYC, trading, and investment products
• Understanding of credit adjudication lifecycle, pricing models, P&L, risk metrics (VaR, sensitivities), and regulatory controls
• 1+ year of hands-on experience designing prompts for LLMs, Copilot, or GenAI platforms
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and agentic workflows
• Strong data analysis skills with structured and unstructured datasets
• Familiarity with market data sources and financial datasets
• Ability to collaborate effectively with traders, bankers, risk managers, and technology teams

Prompt Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft ecosystem tools such as Fabric, Power Platform, and Graph API integration
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock Agentcore
• Relevant postsecondary degree

Prompt Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
