Python Developer:
On behalf of our Global Markets client, Procom is searching for a Python Developer for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Python Developer - Job Description:
As an Associate in Global Markets Analytics, you'll be part of the Resource Management Group driving resource optimization across the trading floor. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering data science and reporting solutions to empower traders, risk managers, and senior stakeholders with actionable insights.

Python Developer - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to elevate proof-of-concept and skeleton frameworks into robust, user-facing applications.
• Design and build dashboards for liquidity, secured funding positions, and resource metrics.
• Develop analytical solutions for collateral efficiency and repo/securities efficiency.
• Build tools for what-if scenario analysis and stress testing within the liquidity framework.
• Create planning tools that connect to what-if scenarios and liquidity risk metrics.

Python Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Significant experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience building end-to-end analytical solutions.
• Expertise in data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and independently.
• Strong communication skills.

Python Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Databricks and Plotly Dash.
• Machine learning knowledge.
• Previous experience in a financial institution.
• Capital markets experience.
• Analytics experience.

Python Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for FTE conversion.

Python Developer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Python Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Onsite 5 days per week.
